Objectives

GEF, World bank, EBRD, etc. have energy policies for developing countries.

The objective consists to promote the European PV industry to get access into these Worldwide programmes.

Activities

• Export in developing countries and other OECD countries
• In the frame of the workgroup “Export in developing countries and other OECD countries“ EPIA members are working on a position paper contributing to the European initiative for poverty eradication and UN millennium goals.

• Establishing a global PV Platform
• On the industry day during Paris 19th European PV Conference Japanese, American and European PV industry associations, agreed to launch a global discussion platform. EPIA took this initiative to start exchanging on issues of common interest with its homologues.
